6 days agoI really dread the world we are barreling towards where corporations are going get people to pay them to become 24/7 surveillance drones for them.
Devils advocate this tech could be amazing for things like surgeons, mechanics, engineers, etc. Any job where a HUD with relevant data or overlays might be advantageous when physically interacting with the world in a way that would preclude you from easily accessing that data (not enough hands, screens, etc)
I got a bunch of docker compose files and the envs documented so its easy to spin things up again or rollback changes. It works well enough if I’m good about keeping everything all up to date and not making changes without noting it down for myself later.
